PAINTING AND DRAWING FROM LIFE for all ages - Ongoing classes                                  with   Joel Coplin

Concentrating on portraiture, landscape and still life; Using charcoal, pastel or oil.

Learn Color Theory, Color mixing, Composition and Perspective, As well as art history and art

PAINTING THE STILL LIFE  IN OIL OR PASTEL   Four class Course                              with   Joel Coplin

Learn all aspects of drawing and painting with the still life as subject,               

including color theory, & mixing, composition and perspective, as well as art history and art appreciation.

Beginners, intermediate and advanced,  Mature children welcome.

This is a small, semi-private class, with plenty of individual attention.

Saturday 12:30 to 3 pm  four classes  $100

Wednesday  afternoons from 1 to 4 pm   $25. per class

WATERCOLOR FOR TRAVELERS (Starts November)                                               with  Jo-Ann Lowney

Learn to journal your travel experiences with the most portable of mediums.

Tuesdays 2 to 4 pm   The cost of this course includes all the tools and supplies you will need

to paint impressions of your own experiences, plus three art classes: The first class will be held in the

gallery, getting acquainted with mediums and materials, and examples and techniques of the masters.

The next and final classes will be held out of doers, painting in the garden at ESA

 $165 for the course.

 

CLAY SCULPTURE    Four class Course                                                                      with Jo-Ann Lowney

The focus of this class is to learn how to create your own unique bas-relief sculpture or tile.

Then if you wish, you may go on to produce your own set of tiles to grace a room or garden or give

as a gift..  Thursday, Class fee $185.includes instruction, clays, glazes and firing.

 

LIFE DRAWING        (Starts in September)                                                                   Uninstructed

          Wednesday night uninstructed drawing sessions with the nude model,

            Open class From 6:30 to 9:30pm,            $15- model fee.
